Revival Time! (Day 2)

Court Street enjoyed Day 2 of the three-day revival and the fire is still burning!

The energy that began at last night's service carried over to today and the powerful Word brought to us by Elder Andrew Montgomery (Miracle Mt. Carmel) added to it. Evangelist Izalliar Dalton provided special music that moved the congregation and stoked the fires burning in our hearts. Also providing special music were singers from the Miracle Mt. Carmel choir who had us all tapping our feet and clapping our hands as we sang from the heart.

We lift up the ministers and singers who have been offering their time and their skills to bring the message in word and song. The spirit of revival is blowing through Court Street UMC and we pray that this spirit continues to fan the flames of our desire for the Lord and to fulfill the Great Commission!

Revival Time!

The first night of Court Street UMC's Fall Revival went well, and we are all anxiously awaiting night two!

There's nothing like revival preaching and revival music to wake up the soul and ignite a desire to work for the Lord. Last night's preaching did just that: It awoke our souls and set our hearts on fire! Reverend Weldon Holiday and his wife Brenda Holiday were an awesome duo bringing the spirit of Revival to Court Street.

We would like to lift Rev. Larry Hairston up in our prayers. He fell ill yesterday and was unable to attend since he was stuck in the waiting room at the hospital.

Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to Rev. Weldon Holiday for stepping in and preaching for us on such short notice. Thank you for you willingness and for the stirring message you brought to us last night!
